In this interactive workshop you will learn how to chose the correct plants to ensure survival inside as well as the correct care instructions for ongoing success.

Arbor-Dama focuses on the simplicity of Bonsai in collaboration with Kokedama.
In this workshop you will have the opportunity to chose a Bonsai Pot and a piece of Gold Vine Timber to be used to display your Kokedama.
The first part of the Workshop will focus on the creation of a Kokedama.
Following the creation of your Kokedama we will move on to creating the "Arbor". You will be guided to chose a piece of Timber that best suits your Bonsai Pot and Kokedama and learn how to secure it firmly for display. You will then have the opportunity to decorate your Arbor-Dama with pebbles to complete your unique display.

Kokedama is a style of Japanese bonsai. It’s name can be loosely translated into English – koke meaning “moss” and dama meaning “ball”.
In our workshop you will make 2 “moss balls” one large and one small, learning how to wrap the plants root system and bind them with string transforming them into sculptural art forms to take home.
Jewel in the Crown Terrariums work on a very unique system similar to a diving bell to supply adequate moisture to the Jewel Orchid and Moss living within the Cloche.
Come and join us to learn how to build your very own Jewel Orchid Terrarium and learn the impacts external forces such as temperature have on the unique system we have created. Â
All Terrarium materials including plants will be provided to create your own specialised world .
