MJC Botanical is a Brisbane based Botanical studio dedicated to refined, living design.

We specialise in bespoke terrariums, botanical sculptures and immersive workshops that explore the intersection of nature, creativity and wellbeing. Each piece is thoughtfully composed using high quality materials and considered plant selection, designed to evolve over time as a form of living art.

Our workshops are intentionally intimate and design led, offering a calm, gilded experience where guests are supported to create with confidence. With a focus on both aesthetics and longevity, we share the knowledge behind each element – ensuring every creation is as enduring as it  is beautiful.

Founded by Melissa, MJC Botanical is grounded in the belief that engaging with nature in a creative way can be both restorative and transformative. This philosophy underpins every detail – from the materials selected to the atmosphere created – resulting in experience that feel elevated, considered and deeply rewarding.

Workshops are typically held on weekends at Mappins Nursery. For those wanting to attend a workshop outside of our specified workshop times or to design one to cater for their personal passion, please contact us directly via email or text to discuss your specific requirements. In some cases we can bring the workshop to you.  

Alternatively if you would like to own one of our pieces, or purchase as a gift and don’t have time to attend a workshop, we have pre packaged Creative Kits as well as a select number of pieces available for sale through Mappins Nursery or online.
