Kokedama is a style of Japanese bonsai. It’s name can be loosely translated into English – koke meaning “moss” and dama meaning “ball”.
In our workshop you will make 2 “moss balls” one large and one small, learning how to wrap the plants root system and bind them with string transforming them into sculptural art forms to take home.

A Vivarium is a specifically designed Terrarium incorporating both land areas planted with Terrestrial Plants (traditional land dwelling plants) together with Small Water Environments providing the perfect conditions for the growth and well being of small invertebrates.
In this Workshop you will learn how to design a unique desktop ecosystem that will mimic the natural habitat suitable for invetebrates (snail and shrimp) to live in a safe healthy environment.
All materials including glass vessel, plants, rock, pebble and a snail will be provided to create your own wet miniature world.
Light refreshments and beverages will also be provided.
Please note:
Minimums of 6 participants are required to run classes.
