Kokedama is a style of Japanese bonsai. It’s name can be loosely translated into English – koke meaning “moss” and dama meaning “ball”.
Join our workshop to make 2 “moss balls” one to keep for yourself and one to gift to your mum for Mothers Day complete with a ceramic Quote tag from Paper Boat Press (one large and one small).
In the workshop you will learn how to wrap the plants root system and bind them with string transforming them into sculptural art forms.
All plants and materials will be provided together with small bowls to display your kokedama. Light refreshments and beverages from local businesses will also be provided.
