In this new workshop join us to learn the technique of wrapping and binding a plants root system and attaching them to a wreath base to a create a living botanical art piece. Following mastering this technique you will then be guided to build on these skills to create a small kokedama, a style of Japanese bonsai (koke meaning “moss” and dama meaning “ball’).
You will leave our workshop with two unique botanical sculptural art forms to take home.
All plants and related materials including wreath base are provided.
