Terrarium Workshop

Closed Terrariums create a unique humid environment similar to that in the tropics. Glass containers allow both heat and light to enter a terrarium generating conditions that create  condensation and photosynthesis both vital aspects of plant growth.

Join us in this interactive workshop to create your own unique miniature world to take home and enjoy.  We will guide you in selecting appropriate plants, making your own tools and teaching you the steps involved in construction and care.

Please bring your own closed vessel.

Materials provided in this workshop include small tropical plants and ferns suitable for a Closed Terrarium, Moss, Gravel, Decorative Pebbles and all substrate layers. Please feel free to bring along any extra plants, timber or figurines if you would like to include them in your finished Terrarium.

Light refreshments and beverages from local businesses will also be provided.
