Kokedama is a style of Japanese bonsai. It’s name can be loosely translated into English – koke meaning “moss” and dama meaning “ball”.
Please join us in this creative workshop learning to make these incredible “moss balls” . We will start with a smaller one to learn the basic techniques of wrapping the plants root system and binding it with string before moving onto a larger more difficult one. You will leave our workshop with 2 sculptural art forms to take home.
All plants and materials will be provided together with small bowls to display your kokedama. Light refreshments and beverages from local businesses will also be provided.
